As everyone arrived back at St Andrews Church, Scouts and leaders looked back at the events of the last week. Last Saturday, tents were pitched, toilets were dug and patrols began to look forward to the time in front of them. The following day, Scouts enjoyed a mini incident hike some of the bases included pulling Scott's car as well a human mine sweep! Some scouts chose to do a walk, and watch the sun set over Scotland. On Monday we went Biking, although there were a few cuts and grazes, some of the more experienced scouts did the advanced route, despite getting very muddy! However, the Scouts continued on to enjoy backwoods cooking. Rock UK, ( ) was a one of the many highlights of the week, Everyone had a go at the zip wire, cannoning, high ropes and more. Cannoning, got a little bit wet so after a well deserved shower we headed back to Galashields.  After a trip to Edinburgh Zoo, we divided into groups and explored the Zoo. Making a Shelter, the next day, wasn't as easy as you would think even after some scouts completing their survival badge, in the last program. The next morning scouts woke up in the Great Outdoors and cooked their breakfast on a disposable barbeque, during the course of the day scouts visited the town and swimming pool and after a campfire in the evening, Scouts slept under the stars. The final day of camp, involved packing up and everyone arriving at home for a good night sleep. The week had lots of activities but most importantly everyone had fun with friends and leaders. Thanks to all the leaders who made this possible. Next year we will do it all over again.
